I’ve spent nearly 20 years in audio post-production, starting at Skywalker Sound right after graduating from Full Sail University in 2005. That experience shaped me—working alongside the world’s top mixers, sound designers, and editors taught me the craft at its highest level. As a re-recording mixer, I love the collaboration: partnering with filmmakers, designers, and editors, blending hardware and software to bring the story on screen to life. Every project is a fresh challenge—a new team, a new adventure, a new tale to share.
Sound is storytelling’s unsung hero. The right mix can spark an involuntary memory, transporting audiences through time and space, making them feel the moment. It’s magic. By balancing what’s heard and what’s silent, I guide the audience’s focus, amplifying engagement. My goal is to understand the filmmaker’s vision and enhance it without ever overshadowing it. When I’m not in the studio, I’m usually cooking with my family—my wife and seven kids. We love preparing and sharing meals together. I also get my hands dirty building furniture or tackling house projects. More than once, we’ve tested our marriage diving into renovations, but we always come out stronger with a new appreciation for each other’s strengths.
